[edit] History
The Walk Ons were established as a three piece by Alex Still, Phil Wedo and Krikor Daglian in 2003. Performing live in the New York metropolitan area, The Walk Ons officially released their first self-titled EP (referred to by the band as a "glorified demo") in May 2005. Later that summer, the band added Nate Donlon as a fourth member.
The band recorded a full length album with producer Dean Rispler in 2006. The album, titled "Standard Package," was released in Spring 2007. They entered Cannon Found Soundation studios in September 2007 to record a second EP, again with Rispler. The new record, titled "Awkward Brunch," was released on May 10, 2008. The band also went on a short tour of select cities in the Northeast and Midwest in April and May.
The band spent the spring and summer of 2009 writing and recording new material. They released a new EP in January 2010 titled "We Did This On Purpose" through Drug Front Records.
