The Well (church)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Well is a non-denominational church located in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, that is part of the emergent church movement within evangelical Christianity. Founded in 1997, it is affiliated with Ecclesia, a network of U.S. missional churches,[1] and promotes a relaxed and less-than-traditional approach to worship and fellowship.[2]
The Well is located in a converted machine shop within an industrial park.[3][4] The church offers an informal setting, with couches in lieu of pews, a three-woman choir backed by drums and guitars, and a self-serve communion.[4][5] The church is also home to an art gallery, concert hall and coffee bar,[3][4] and it has been used as a venue for nonprofit fundraising events.[6]
