"The Wild One" is a song by Australian rock band Jet featuring American singer Iggy Pop. The song is a tribute to rock and roll legend Johnny O'Keefe. Coincidentally in 1980s Iggy Pop had recorded a cover of O'Keefes songs "Wild One (Real Wild Child)" which was featured in some movie soundtracks in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The song was released as a CD Single and Digital download on 19 July 2008 and has so far peaked at #66 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
