[edit] Synopsis
Vidale starred as the sassy Thea Turrell (known for her trademark one-liner of "See ya'!"), a widow living in Houston, Texas who is struggling to raise her four kids with the help of her sister (Yvette Wilson) and brother-in-law (Cleavant Derricks). The show was the first to feature Brandy Norwood, who later went on to become a Grammy-winning singer and star on the sitcom Moesha (with Wilson as a member of the supporting cast).
