Think Brownstone, Inc. is an American experience design firm founded in 2007 with studios in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Philadelphia) and Denver, Colorado. The company currently employs 40+ people with expertise in various design, technology, media and business related disciplines. In 2011 and again in 2012, Think Brownstone was identified as one of the "fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region" by the Wharton Small Business Development Center, The Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Business Journal. Think Brownstone was also added to the Inc. 5000 list in 2012, ranking #1729 on the list overall, #49 in Pennsylvania and #10 for IT Services companies in PA. At the close of 2012, Think Brownstone was a $3MM company.
Think Brownstone was founded in September 2007 by partners Brian McIntire and Carl White. The first studio (also called the Think Space) was designed by refurbishing the 2nd floor of an historical building in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (the Sons Of America Building, c.1890), transforming it into "an inviting and energizing space with high ceilings, oversized windows, comfortable couches and picture-framed whiteboards to capture ideas when they strike."
Upon opening in 2008, the studio quickly received attention for being a unique workspace. In the summer of 2011 Think Brownstone opened its second studio in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver, Colorado (the Weir Building, c.1885) and in late Fall of 2012 grew to inhabit the 3rd floor of the original Think Space in Conshohocken.
