Thom Mathews (born November 28, 1958) in Los Angeles, California is an actor who is perhaps best known for his appearance in the horror films Return of the Living Dead and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.

Mathews began his acting career in the early 1980s as a model and commercial actor, starring in national commercials for Le Tigre Clothing, Sprite and Tostitos. His first major role was 'Freddy' in the cult classic, Return of the Living Dead. Mathews has been referred to as the 'Paul Newman of horror flicks".[1] Mathews has starred in eleven Albert Pyun films.
Mathews now co-owns a construction company, Hammer and Trowel. Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne hired his company to remodel their home during the filming of their reality show on MTV, The Osbournes.[2]
