[edit] The TTR World Snowboard Tour
The events that make up the TTR World Tour must be judged freestyle events with a scored final result for each rider competing. Events must run one or more of the following formats: slopestyle, halfpipe, big air, rail jams. Quarterpipe events are sometimes included as well. Creativity is actively encouraged at the individual events, allowing each organizer to incorporate innovative formats and course setups. The events themselves are conceived and run by organizers who are involved in and understand snowboard culture.
TTR tour events are divided up by a “Star” system ranging from 1Star events to 6Star events making for a clear division between amateur/rookie level events and professional level events. The TTR Star accreditation denotes the significance of the event on a global scale, quantity of TTR Ranking points obtainable, overall quality of the event and the level of competition, 6Star rating being the highest. The TTR World Tour is structured in a way that riders on all levels, from amateurs on up to professionals, can compete on the same global tour. All riders are also ranked on the same TTR World Ranking lists, which currently list over 3500 riders.
One of the most unique qualities of the Tour is the wide variety of competition formats, allowing for the event organizers and the riders to be creative and progressive. TTR strives to align judging systems that are used at the events around the globe. Detailed information on the TTR judging systems can be found on the website: http://www.ttrworldtour.com/about/judging The TTR Tour Champions are declared at the last 6Star event of the season, respective to discipline. The TTR Tour Champion titles are awarded to the male and female riders who have the best ranking result on the Overall, Slopestyle, Halfpipe or Big Air ranking lists at the end of the season. TTR awards Tour Champion Titles in the following categories: Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Overall and Big Air (men-only).

[edit] TTR Rankings
Riders earn points towards each different ranking list based on the star level of the event and their final result in the given discipline in competition. See the website for detailed information and examples http://ttrworldtour.com/about/ttr-ranking-information.html TTR advanced the ranking system from one overall ranking into separate ranking lists per discipline in order to recognize how specialized the sport has become and how focused riders are with individual disciplines. The TTR World Tour features separate tour ranking lists for Overall, Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Big Air (men only). Tour rankings start at zero at the beginning of each season and only take results of the current season into account. At the last 6Star event of each season, the TTR will award the following TTR World Tour Champion Titles: TTR Overall Tour Champion, TTR Slopestyle Tour Champion, TTR Halfpipe Tour Champion and a TTR Big Air Tour Champion (men-only)
[edit] TTR Points lists
TTR Points Lists are based on a riders best results over a 52 week period and are updated once a week. They are used to determine a riderʼs eligibility to enter events on different levels. The points lists will be used to directly seed riders into semi-finals at 5Star and 6Star events by using a riderʼs position on the respective discipline points list. The ʻInvited Rider Protocolʼ and ʻQualified Rider Protocolʼ are both based on the TTR Points Lists. The TTR Points Lists are calculated for Halfpipe and Slopestyle for men and women and men-only for Big Air. A riderʼs position on the TTR Points Lists are determined by calculating an average of a riderʼs best TTR results over a rolling 52 week period and are updated every week on Thursday.
