Cissa was a residential episcopal see that was centred on the town of Novalja based on the island of Pag in the north Dalmatian archipelago, once part of the Roman province of Istria and today of Croatia. The last residential bishop of which there are records was an Ursinus who signed the acts of a synod at Rome in 680. The diocese is now a titular see of the Catholic Church.[1] [2][3]
