Todd Tweedy

Todd Tweedy (born 1964) in Fairbanks, Alaska is an American Internet marketing expert, best known for his work in instant messaging and word of mouth marketing as cost effective acquisition marketing and advocacy vehicles. Mr. Tweedy co-chaired conference on enterprise instant messaging integration and marketing for Jupitermedia from 2002 to 2004. He is the founder of Imvector, an instant messaging infrastructure firm and most recently founded Audience Machine Inc., a social networking technology firm. Mr. Tweedy has written for a number of technology and business weblogs including Corante.com, Word Spreads Quickly and Social Media Today. Mr. Tweedy authored the word of mouth industry study Perceptions, Practices and Ethics in Word of Mouth Marketing [1] in May 2006 and the Neighboring Marketing Model published by Internet.com in April 2002. Mr. Tweedy lives outside of Charlottesville, Virginia in the village of Faber with his wife and three children.
