[edit] Career

[edit] Leeds United

Born in Leeds, Elliott began his career at hometown club Leeds United, spending loan spells at Macclesfield Town, Bury and Rotherham United. While at Rotherham, manager Ronnie Moore was critical of Elliott's attitude, saying "Paul Warne came on last weekend and was magnificent and he's 37 but runs round like a 2 year old while. Tom's 19 and runs around like a 40 year old. It drives me crackers really."[1][2] Elliott's spell at Rotherham was affected by injuries.[3]

Elliott was released by Leeds, signing a short-term deal with Scottish side Hamilton Academical on 31 January 2011.[4]

Elliott was released by Hamilton in May 2011.[5]

Elliott went on trial with Bradford City in June 2011.[6]

He joined Stockport County in August 2011.
