Tomisato (富里市 Tomisato-shi) is a city located in northeastern Chiba Prefecture, Japan. As of February 2011, the town had an estimated population of 50,886 and a population density of 944 persons per km². The total area was 53.91 km².

Tomisato is located in northern Chiba Prefecture, very close to Narita Airport.

Tomisato Village was founded on April 1, 1889 within Inba District, Chiba Prefecture. On April 1, 1985 is was elevated to town status, and became a city on April 1, 2002.

Tomisato is a regional commercial center whose economy is primarily agricultural. The main crops are rice and watermelons. Traditionally, the area was known for horse ranching. The city is also a bedroom community for workers at Narita Airport.

Tomisato is not currently served by railway. The Narita Railway Company’s Yachimata Line operated from 1914-1940.
