The Top of Troy (formerly named the National City Center) stands at 755 West Big Beaver Road, in Troy, Michigan. It is the tallest building in Troy, Michigan. The triangular-shaped high-rise was constructed in 1974, and completed in 1975. It stands 25 stories (346 ft/106m), and is used mainly for office space, retail, and restaurant uses. It was designed in the international style of architecture. Its main materials are concrete and glass.[1]
The building can be easily accessed from Interstate 75, as it is located just west of the interchange (I-75 exit number 69) with Big Beaver Road. As of early 2006, the building was officially renamed in honor of its newest and largest tenant, National City Bank. The Top of Troy can be seen for miles from much of the Metro Detroit Area.
