Topslip

Topslip is located at 800 feet (240 m) above sea level on the Anamalai mountain range. It is popularly known as Anamalai Hills. It is a small place in Anaimalai Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary that lies in the Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu at the southern part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.[1] Separated from the Nilgiri Hills by the Palghat Gap on the north, the Park is contiguous to the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) to its west and to the Eravikulam National Park (Kerala) and Chinnar Wild life sanctuary.

Route[edit]

Topslip is about 37 km from Pollachi, the nearest town and 9km from Sethumadai Village where you can find shops and frequent buses to pollachi. It will take about one-hour journey on road from Pollachi to Topslip or 15 minutes journey from Sethumadai village

Buses are available regularly between pollachi and topslip.

Wild Life[edit]

Topslip is one of the tourist spots in Western Ghats. It is popular because of its natural less human intervened wild life.

Parambikulam Wild Life Sanctuary,to the east of Topslip is also a wonderful place with three dams which belong to Tamil Nadu but are situated in Kerala. You can see wild animals like Elephants, Wild Goats, Wild Buffalos, Monkey's etc.,
