Tord Øverland-Knudsen (born 24 July 1982) is a Norwegian musician best known for playing bass guitar, keyboards and providing backing vocals for The Wombats.
Tord was born in Elverum, Norway on 24 July 1982 to Goril Øverland and Per Egil Knudsen. He has two younger siblings, a brother Magnus and a sister Synne. When Tord was in high school, he was accepted as one of 20 students to Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts where he met fellow band mates Matthew Murphy and Daniel Haggis. In his first two weeks at LIPA, he joined eight bands.

He has a number of side projects which include SiN, State Kuban and a duo with Wombats drummer Daniel Haggis called The Captain & the Princess, formerly known as 2manyJDs.
He currently resides in Liverpool.
