Torn is the second book of the young adult paranormal literature series the Trylle Trilogy.[1] It picks up the story of Wendy Everly and the Trylle that began in Switched.[2]

It was again self-published by Amanda Hocking as an eBook on 12 November 2010.[3]

The second book of the Trylle trilogy finds Wendy growing to resent her role as a princess of the Trylle, a society of beautiful trolls steeped in magic and political intrigue. At the same time, her feelings for Finn are considered inappropriate and she must figure out what is important to her. Wendy returns home to the human world, but finds herself being stalked by the Vittra, centuries' old enemies of the Trylle. Wendy must make some difficult choices, ones that will affect uncountable numbers of lives, and comes to realize just how important she is.
