Touro College, located in New York City, is the parent institution. Touro University is jointly administered with Touro University Nevada, located in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
The TUCA Campus consists of 40 acres (16 ha) of the former Mare Island naval base.
The colleges of TUCA include the College of Osteopathic Medicine which offers the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), the College of Pharmacy which offers the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), the College of Health Studies which offers three types of degrees, including a Physician Assistant degree (MSPAS) as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, and the College of Education, which offers a Master of Arts in Education. Touro's College of Osteopathic Medicine has recently become a more competitive D.O. school, with the Class of 2015 having an average MCAT score of 28.90 and GPA of 3.45.[1]
A new program available since 2010 offers a Master of Medical Health Science degree (MMHS); it provides specific training towards the preparation for the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
