Public transport is the main means of transportation in Swaziland. Car ownership is low, at 32 cars per 1,000 people.[1] The National Road Network has 1500km of main roads and 2270km of district roads.[2]

The country's main airport is Matsapha Airport, near Manzini, which has a 2600m runway. In 2011 it is expected to be replaced by Sikhuphe International Airport, which is under construction further to the east, with a 3600m runway.[3]
