Trar Dewan

Trar Dewan (Urdu: ترا ڑ دیوان) is a village in the Kashmir region of Pakistan. It is 78 kilometres from Islamabad and 1.5 kilometres south of Rawalakot city in Azad Kashmir.

The population of the town is about 10,000. There are various tribes including Sudhan, Quraishi, Khwaja, Mangral, Sulehria, Maldiyal Mughal, Dhund Abbasi and Gakhars.

The village has a government polytechnic college, a middle school for boys and a middle school for girls. Approximately 90% of the population are educated. Most college and university graduates include doctors, engineers, professors and businessmen.
