Tres is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 30 km north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 667 and an area of 14.5 km².[1]
Tres borders the following municipalities: Coredo, Smarano, Sfruz, Taio, Cortaccia sulla strada del vino and Vervò.
