Trinity Place is a north-south thoroughfare in Lower Manhattan in New York City. It passes the rear of Trinity Church, a historic gothic-style cathedral on Broadway at Wall Street. Trinity Place begins its north/south run at the Edgar Street exit of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, and officially terminates at Liberty Street, though its route continues uninterrupted as Church Street, ending at Canal Street by forming a "T". The Trinity/Church/Liberty intersection forms the southeast corner of the World Trade Center site. The American Stock Exchange is located at 86 Trinity Place.

[edit] Trinity Place Bridge

Midway through its course, Trinity Place passes under the Trinity Place Bridge. Completed in 1989, the bridge is a private elevated walkway connecting the rear side of Trinity Church to its parish house across Trinity Place.
