Trnovska vas is a settlement and a small municipality in northeastern Slovenia. The area was part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. It is now included in the Drava statistical region. The settlement lies on the Ptuj to Lenart v Slovenskih goricah regional road in the valley of the river Pesnica.[2]
The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Wolfgang and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It dates to the 18th century.[3]
