Troieschyna (Ukrainian: Троєщина) or Vygurivschyna-Troieschyna (Ukrainian: Вигурівщина-Троєщина) is a large neighbourhood of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Troieschyna is an outskirt located on the northern left-bank part of the city and is administratively included in the Desnianskyi Raion. It's a gigantic whole-planned bedroom district housing the population of at least 300.000 residents but also a small industrial area.
Troieschyna became part of Kiev municipality in 1988, prior to that it was a village which still survives on the edge of the new neighborhood.
The area suffers from inadequate transport links to the rest of the city.
