Club career [edit]

Navibank Saigon F.C. [edit]

Luật has never been to a professional training course so in the first year (2005) he did not contribute much to the team, but since 2006, he became the pillar of support for the Army team and helped the Army team to be promoted to the V-League 2009 season and he also played an important part in the team's success campaign to avoid relegation that season. In October 2009, Quân Khu 4 F.C. was brought by the South Vietnam Bank. From the 2010 V-League, Quân Khu 4 F.C's name official changed to Navibank Saigon F.C.

Saigon F.C. [edit]

International career [edit]

In early September 2006, Luật was called up for Vietnam Olympic team to prepare for the 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. He wasn't abble to compete for a regular place with experienced players such as Nguyễn Huy Hoàng or Nguyễn Minh Đức. He had the opportunity to play in last match against Bangladesh but his knee was injured at the time. However, he was called back into the team by the coach Henrique Calisto, started in the friendly match against the Greek club Olympiakos in early 2009. Then he called up later on for the national team in the friendly competition Ho Chi Minh City Cup and the 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification.
