Tsentoroy (Russian: Центорой) is a village (selo) in Shalinsky District of the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located some 40 kilometers (25 mi) east-south-east of Grozny, the republic's capital, at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains.
It is the home of the powerful Kadyrov clan (teip) in general and the Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov in particular who is thought to run two private prisons at his property.[citation needed]
