Ueda Town has many things around the station. Multiple Ramen Shops as well as Higher end Japanese Restaurants. Two Large Hotels, as well as a Book-Off and Tsutaiya. Also, Ueda Shopping Center is a large complex with a Fujikoshi foods store, Honeys Clothes Store as well as Large 100 Yen shop. an arcade is located on the top floor, and there are a few other smaller boutiques such as a watch store, a shoe store and a bag store.
