Uki (宇城市 Uki-shi) is a city located in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
The city was founded on January 15, 2005, as a result of the merger between the towns of Misumi and Shiranuhi, both from Uto District, and the towns of Matsubase, Ogawa and Toyono, all from Shimomashiki District.
As of April 30, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 62,678, with a household number of 22,693 and the density of 332.40 persons per km². The total area is 188.56 km².
