UNCROWNED is a Modern Edge Metal band from Atlanta, GA. They formed in 2002 with guitarist Jack Andrad, singer Stephen Bazzell, and bass player Stuart Clark. After two years Scott Sellers joined the line up to complete the group. The name “UNCROWNED” was taken from a Charles Bukowski poem.

It was announced in 2013 that Stephen Bazzell was leaving the band.

UNCROWNED has had many successes over the past eight years such as winning the Cabo Wabo, Hard Rock Café, “A Shot at the Cabo Wabo” contest in 2004, and major regional airplay of their single “Devil in My Hand” released in 2007.[citation needed] Their song entitled “Remember Your Ghost,” released late 2007, remained in the top 20 of Sirius Octane for twenty two weeks.[1] In the June 2007 issue of Spin Magazine, UNCROWNED was featured in the article, "The Art of Hustle".[2]

In 2005 UNCROWNED released their debut album Simple Sick Device. Two singles were released from the album "Queen of New York" and "You Deny." The album singles, "Devil in My Hand", "Believe in Goodbye", and "Remember Your Ghost" all gained radio success and a video was released for each track.
