[edit] History
Unitask, Inc. was founded in Haifa, Israel by Alex Protas, Michael Segev and Yechiel Tushia as a consulting group. The company expanded their offerings to include software shortly thereafter. The company operates as Unitask Software in the United States and as Unitask, Inc. in Israel.
[edit] Recent
The company was noted by Oracle E-Business Suite trend watcher Floyd Teter, who wrote "Unitask is a company that makes bolt-on utility applications for the Oracle E-Business Suite. Their core mission is improving the E-Business ownership experience. The utilities, which can be used either as an integrated tool suite or as individual products, are simple but elegant solutions," [1]
In July 2010, Unitask received 250K in funding from Automation Alley and as a result, relocated headquarters from Haifa, Israel to Bloomfield Hills.[2]
The company also has a history of participating in mashups. For example, Unitask collaborated with Serena Software to automate the migration of Oracle E-Business Suite components that are a part of development, testing, and production. Both technologies are related to application lifecycle management and technology governance.[3]
