United Bank Card, Inc. (UBC) is a payment and transaction processor located in New Jersey, USA, serving businesses throughout the US. UBC currently handles the merchant accounts for over 100,000 merchant locations and processing in excess of $9 billion annually. The company was founded in 1999 by Jared Isaacman. It's CTO, Brendan Lauber, was recently featured on Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker.

United Bank Card has earned a reputation for innovation by introducing some industry-leading initiatives including:
- In November 2004, United Bank Card was the first payment processor to offer a Free Terminal Program.
- Among other technological innovations, UBC introduced the Interactive ISO System (IIS) in 2001, designed as a portfolio management tool for Independent Sales Offices (ISOs) working with the company. This online system gives ISOs access to statement reporting, task management tools, sales and marketing materials, training information, online merchant account approvals and residual reports among other things.
- In early 2008, United Bank Card released the Harbortouch touchscreen point-of-sale (POS) system.[1]
- In 2009, United Bank Card began offering electronic cash registers integrated with credit card processing, free of charge. This was the first Free ECR program in the electronic payments industry.[2]
- Has thousands of complaintes against the company on the internet for overcharging customers and other unfair business paractice.

[edit] Harbortouch
Harbortouch is a division of United Bank Card. Launched in early 2008, Harbortouch is a supplier of point-of-sale (POS) solutions, distributed through Independent Sales Offices across the US.
The Harbortouch POS System consists of a touchscreen display loaded with software specific to either the retail or restaurant/hospitality industries. This software enables the terminal to accept cash and non-cash payments, manage sales, track inventory and handle a wide range of reporting functions. Harbortouch also offers various accessories which integrate with the system.
In 2011, the company launched an industry-first "free" POS system program which allows merchants to obtain a Harbortouch POS system with no up-front costs. There is a monthly service fee and quarterly software support fee required.[10]

United Cash Solutions (UCS) is a division of United Bank Card that provides a full service, turnkey Automated Teller Machine (ATM) program. Headquartered in Hampton, NJ, the company is a registered automated teller machine processor supported by all regional and national ATM networks, with American State Bank acting as their sponsoring financial institution. UCS provides all aspects of ATM service in-house, including ATM transaction processing, ATM terminal sales and leasing, deployment, vault cash services, installation, monitoring, service and support. The company deploys various ATM terminals, primarily the MiniBank 1520.
