United Sorority and Fraternity Council

The United Sorority and Fraternity Council was founded on the campus of San Diego State University in 1997. The council comprises various cultural-based sororities and fraternities on campus. Its existence is to provide a governing council for its respective organizations and promote unity and respect amongst themselves, the university, and the community.

The USFC comprises 14 officially recognized sororities and fraternities and two affiliate sororities. There are 5 Asian American, 6 Multicultural, and 5 Latin organizations. All organizations are committed to the enrichment of the college experience by instilling values of academics, community service, culture, sisterhood/brotherhood, and leadership.
