Universal Music Distribution (formerly MCA Music Distribution Corp., Uni Distribution Corp., Universal Music & Video Distribution, Inc. and Universal Music & Video Distribution Corp.) is a unit of Universal Music Group. It oversees the distribution and sales of such UMG labels as: Universal Motown Republic Group, Island Def Jam Music Group, Interscope-Geffen-A&M, MCA Nashville, Verve Music Group, Universal Classics, Universal Music Latino, Universal Music Enterprises, Hip-O, UTV, Fonovisa, Disa, Machete Music, Fonovisa, Varèse Sarabande and VI Music. Additionally, it also provides North American distribution to such non Universal-owned labels as ABKCO Records, Hollywood Records, Concord Records and Rounder Records.
UMD also handles the distribution and sales for Visual Entertainment, the company's home entertainment division. The company's web site is UMusic.com.
