The Universidad de San Martín de Porres (USMP) is a private university located in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1962 by the Dominican Order of the Catholic Church.

The university counts two large branches, in Lima and Chiclayo.

The University community of teachers, students and graduated professionals are dedicated to the values and objectives of this Dominican institution. It is headquartered in the Santa Anita district of the Lima Metropolitalian Area, with additional campuses in other districts of Lima: San Isidro, La Molina and Pueblo Libre.

According to the 2012 university rankings by British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), San Martín de Porres University occupies the fifth position among all Peruvian universities, and the 151st position in Latin America overall. Above USMP are: Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (31st), Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (46th), Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (81st) and Universidad de Lima (144th).
