University School of Information Technology (USIT) is a premier constituent institute of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The school offers a full-time B.Tech, M.Tech, as well as MCA programs.[1]

Founded in 1999, University School of Information Technology was established by the Government of Delhi as one of the 12 University Schools of Studies under the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Admission [edit]

Admission to the 4+2 year B.Tech (regular) program of USIT is done on the basis of merit in the all India level common entrance test (CET) which is conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University annually.

Industry relation [edit]

USIT has a memorandum of understanding with CISCO systems, IBM and Intel.[2] USIT is also the Cisco regional academy for northern India.

The final year students of USIT are placed with the top IT companies like Adobe, Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Hughes, Quark, etc.[3]

InfoXpression [edit]

InfoXpression is the annual festival of the USIT. It is organized by The Students Association of Information Technology (SAInT).

Neurotrix is the annual technical festival of the IEEE Student Branch.

LeThAc [edit]

LeThAc - Learn Think Act - is the annual Open Source Conclave organized by the IEEE Student Branch.
