The museum consists of two galleries―one of Asian art and one of tribal art. Most of the works on display were donated by the American/Hawaiian artist John Chin Young (1909–1997).

The museum is open 11:00am to 2:00pm on weekdays and 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sundays. The museum does not charge admission, but there is a $6.00 parking fee on campus except Sundays when parking is free.
