Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments

The Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments is one of the 17 regional North Carolina Councils of Governments (Region L) established by the North Carolina General Assembly for the purpose of regional planning and administration. Headquartered in Wilson, North Carolina, it serves Edgecombe, Halifax, Wilson, Nash, and Northampton counties. 'An example of a courthouse in the Council is the Nash County courthouse in Nashville , N.C.
