Upper Mongolia

Upper Mongolia is a historical region that covers northern Qinghai province and Subei Mongol Autonomous County of China. Upper Mongolia has been ruled by the many Mongolic states such as Xiongnu (209 BC-93 CE), Tuyuhun Kingdom (285-670), Mongol Empire (1206-1368), Mongolian Khaganate, Zunghar Khanate and Khoshut Khanate (1642-1717).
