Upper Mongolia

Upper Mongolia is a historical region where lived Upper Mongols and Mongolic Tuyuhun's descendants Monguor people. Upper Mongolia covers northern Qinghai province and Subei Mongol Autonomous County of China. Upper Mongolia was part of the Mongolic Xiongnu (209 BC-93 CE), Tuyuhun Kingdom (285-670), Mongol Empire (1206-1368) and Khoshut Khanate (1640s-1720s).
