King Hezekiah was The King of Judah. He was from the Davidic line and was going to be made the Mashiach but the Redemption wasn't merited. When Sannechariv of Asyria laid siege on Jerusalem, Hezekiah fortified Jerusalem and extended it to the current site of the Old City. He also built Hezekiah's Tunnel to access the Gihon Spring in order to enable the access of drinking water during the siege.
