[edit] Opinion on Wikipedia

I find it amazing that, for such a popular site, I had no idea that it existed. It was through a Descent-related website that I happen to come across Wikipedia. Since then, I have found Wikipedia to be an excellent and very useful source for school research and nearly everything else that concerns research.

I'm no longer that active as an editor and contributor of Wikipedia articles. Despite this, I will continue to use the site as it is supposed to be used — an encyclopaedia.

[edit] Article Editing Style

When editing articles or uploading pictures on the English Wikipedia, I try as much as possible to do the following:

• Ensure that proper English is used
• Ensure proper punctuation
• Cite my sources, where applicable
• Not vandalise
• Explain to vandals, in edit summaries, why their edits are not needed, or otherwise redirect them to Uncyclopedia
• Follow the neutral point of view
• Revert any and all vandalism
• Remove any and all original research
• Remove any and all points of view
• Remove any unsourced claims, where applicable

On talk pages, I try to:

• Assume good faith
• Avoid attacking anyone personally
• Remove all personal attacks on sight

If any rule prevents me from improving Wikipedia, I try to:

• Do this
• Keep this in mind
