Hello! My nickname is Addict 2006. (Don't take it seriously!) I'm a user of Wikipedia since March of 2006. I kind of like some stuff related to Japanese culture, though. In the meantime, I've been contributing anonymously to the Homestar Runner Wiki [1] since December 2006 and officially became a member there (through bypassing reluctancy and motivation) on January 18, 2007. I also signed up for an account on the Wikimedia Commons (though I only rarely use it) on March 1, 2007. I also signed up for The Funny Wiki [2] (a friend's) on September 4, 2007 (another I rarely use), and Wikia, beginning at a wiki about 24 [3] on November 23, 2008, after 3 invitations and watching and enjoying 24: Redemption.

Username's origin and alternate name

I came up with this nickname (or username) because I used to call myself a "bubbob" addict (a term seemingly made up from the game Bubble Bobble, or the characters Bub and Bob).

I had originally meant to call myself "addict_2006", in lowercase and with the underscore. But since Wiki markup here doesn't work that way, I ended up with "Addict 2006". However, I still would like to keep my username the way it is.

My other nickname is Superslinger (with my age or, commonly, the year I made that account as a suffix) in other sites. While playing a former Lego.com Bionicle game called Huai Snowball Sling, a preview of a GBA game, the game said that Lego.com members could be able to post their high scores. I then decided to get a Lego.com account. After a while of pondering, I settled on that nickname with the idea of "slinging" from that game.

Unfortunately, my internet persona goes by that name (superslinger2007) also.
