Super Technologies is a hosted VoIP solution provider, founded in 1999 by Rehan Allahwala and Suzzane Bowen. Super technologies provides DID (Direct inward dialing) and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) services.[1]
History
[edit]In the year 2000, Super Technologies launched Virtual Phone Line[2], a call forwarding service, which enables its users to forward their calls to different carriers, such as Skype, MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo, SIP and PSTN through a virtual number and receiving economical international calls.
The Company extended their operations in the year 2001 by including Super Phone Unlimited to provide global consumers and businesses telephony services delivered over broadband, and local phone numbers from several countries. In 2005 the company completed interconnect agreements and interlope testing with 100 service providers for incoming phone numbers from 10 countries. The DIDXchange[3] was formed with those 100 providers to buy and /or sell DID phone numbers over SIP or IAX2 Asterisk protocols. The DIDXchange expanded in 2008 to include wireless service providers and web 2.0 companies.
