About Me[edit]

If you want to know a bit about me: I'm not a Ph.D., but I once drove past a HolidayInn on my way to the gas station.
I grew up in Frankfort, Ohio and Chillicothe, Ohio USA, went to school at the University of Maryland (College Park, Maryland). Worked numerous years for minimum wage and now live in San Antonio, Texas.
Other places where I've spent some significant time are Seoul, South Korea, London, Great Britain, Ramstein, Germany, and Vicenza, Italy, Sarajevo, BiH, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
My Wikihistory[edit]
I've been active in Wikipedia since the Summer of 2004. I was introduced to Wikis as an information source during a forensics computer investigation class.
Currently, I'm much more comfortable editing existing pages than creating new pages from scratch. However, I see my role in Wikipedia, at this point, to cruise around looking for articles that just should be in any decent encyclopedia, but are missing from the Wikipedia, and give them a reasonable start. I don't do sub-stubs - my typical first efforts are 1000-1500 bytes long. As time and inclination permits, I return to enhance and expand them.
As I tool around, I also fix typos and add content to things that I care about and which need it.
My Interests[edit]
My especial interests are beer and homebrewing, beekeeping, computers, especially data mining, professional wrestling (particularly Rey Mysterio of WWE and related areas, and other things.
