Anand Nair (born 13 March, 1984) is an Indian IT Engineer who is currently working with a GIS firm after completing his Masters in Applied Geology from IIT Roorkee.

Anand Nair was born in a Hindu (Saivite) Nair family in Trivandrum, Kerala in 1984. In addition to his native language (Malayalam), he speaks English fluently. He is also competent in Hindi and Tamil. Currently he resides in Uttar Pradesh, in the Delhi suburb of Noida.

His hobbies include playing cricket, listening to rock music and contributing to wikipedia. Although he does not like the current Indian cricket team too much, Anand occasionally watches cricket matches on television and supports rookie teams like Namibia and The Netherlands. The cricket players he likes the most are Raymond van Schoor, Mark Jonkman & Alexei Kervezee. He hates Sreesanth and considers him to be a disgrace to all Nairs and Keralites.
He supports Delhi Daredevils and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. His favourite players are David Warner, Parthiv Patel & Sudeep Tyagi.
He is also having a keen interest in soccer. He supports Zenit Saint Petersburg and Beitar Jerusalem. He is also a big supporter of the Serbian and Russian national football teams. His favourite soccer players are Nikola Žigić, Miloš Krasić, Denis Kolodin, Maxim Kalinichenko, Wladimir Baýramow, Oliver Risser and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
He hates David Haye and supports Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko and Sergei Liakhovich for the WBA Heavyweight title.

Anand Nair is a hardcore supporter of Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and his policies. He also supports other politicians such as Yogi Adityanath and Arun Jaitley. He supports Varun Gandhi for the post of Prime Minister of India and M.T.Ramesh for the post of Chief Minister of Kerala. He hates Sonia Gandhi and her vote bank policies. He also stands against goons like Arjun Singh and Karunanidhi, whose sole ambition is to destroy the Indian nation and it's culture.
Also, Anand is a member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Nair Service Society. Anand Nair vehemently opposes reverse racism against upper caste Hindus in India and the introduction of Caste and Religion based quotas. He views homosexuality as a mental disease and despises liberals and communists.
He views the Land Reforms Ordinance passed by the Marxist-Communist government in 1956, which armed the state government to confiscate land without any compensation to the landowners as the most evil act ever committed by the Indian government.

Anand currently resides in Noida, which is close to Delhi.
He is a pure non-vegetarian and hates each and every type of vegetarian food. His favourite dish is Fish fry. He also likes Chicken Roast, Mutton Chops, Pork Ribs, Rabbit, Venison, Lamb, Tortoise, Bacon, Humans & Ham. He would like to try out fried Snake, but the unavailability of exotic dishes in the vicinity of Noida is currently throwing a spanner in to his plans.
He loves fast food brands such as McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken & Submarine. His favourite seafood items are Prawn, Shellfish, Clams, Octopus, Shrimp, Cuttlefish, Sardine, Squid, Mackerel, Ray, Crab, Sea snake and Shark.

Anand Nair is a proud alumni of IIT Roorkee. He did his Master's course in the Department of Earth Sciences during 2004-2006. Anand Nair currently works as an IT Engineer in Noida.

Anand supports the OMON in it's battle against Al Qaeda terrorists in Chechenya. He believes that the OMON is the best solution to end the Al Qaeda menace. He supports Valluvanad side in the Mamankam.
He admires great personalities such as Yerofey Khabarov, Yakov Permyakov, Nikolai Przhevalsky and Vladimir Shamanov. Anand regards the Badaber Uprising, in which 12 Soviet prisoners held out against a massive army of 1,200 Al Qaeda - Taliban militants as the most courageous act ever read about.
