I've been an editor on Wikipedia for a few years now; I was originally introduced to it by my partner, David Gerard. Whilst not as prolific an editor as David, nonetheless I have been reasonably active in the past although I am now returning to semi-active status as an editor after a prolonged wiki-hiatus.
David and I have a baby daughter together; duties of motherhood make it rather nigh-impossible for me to attend Wiki meet-ups (particularly as they always seem to be organised in child-unfriendly venues - why does it always have to be in pubs??) but I do keep abreast of current wiki events by other means.
