Hi there! I am Brian Logan. I teach law at Bryant & Stratton College, and I consider myself a polymath. I hold a doctorate in law from the law school of the oldest nonsectarian private university in North America. I am barely notable in real life. I may not be a notable academic, but I am famous at my college. Not that any of that matters here, because Wikipedia relies not on expertise but on reliable, verifiable, and independent sources.

I have been an editor for Wikipedia since February 7, 2007, and have created about 160 articles and stubs in the past three years. With over 42,000 edits, I am one of the top most prolific Wikipedians, as of December 5, 2011 at # 706, and perhaps too much so. I was chosen an administrator on September 27, 2007, over three years ago, and am one of about 1,800 admins on English Wikipedia.

Regarding the issue of my supposed consensus-violating inclusionism at RFA and AFD, I did the research to confirm or to deny it, see User_talk:Bearian#My_recent_record.2C_for_the_record. I am not much more inclusionist than the average Wikipedian. For the period May 1 to 11, 2011, I was in line with the consensus on WP:RFA exactly 100 % of the time, and on WP:AfD a bit over 92 % of the time.

Potential biases

I have been a member of the Sierra Club and the Episcopal Church USA for about a decade. I have been a member of the Democratic Party (United States) for many years.

My fiance′ is an Asian-American nursing educator, baritone, and film producer.

Wherever I personally know, or am related to, a person, I try to disclose that fact.

I hate bigotry in its many forms.
