I'm BethNaught. My main interests here are recent changes patrolling, reviewing new articles and Articles for Creation submissions, and fixing red links. Sometimes I'll do a bit of wikification as well.
If I reverted your edits in error, please leave a message on my talk page.
Articles with significant contributions by me
I do believe that articles must be written. However, I haven't written many yet.
My real name is not Beth Naught (and no, I won't tell you who I am). My username is a reference to the smallest of the Beth numbers, a series of cardinal numbers representing the cardinality of certain infinite sets. I tried to register Aleph naught, but when it was taken I took this one, before realising it sounded like a real name! It is not anything to do with this quote, which I found while Googling myself:
|Beth naught agast, ne quaketh naught! Wherto?||Do not be aghast or quake: why should you?|
|Ne chaungeth naught for fere so youre hewe!||and do not change, from fear so, your hue:|
|For hardely the werst of this is do;||for indeed, the worst of this is through.|
|And though my tale as now be to yow newe,||And though my tale as now be to you new,|
|Yet trist alwey ye shal me fynde trewe;||yet trust me always, and you will find me true:|
|And were it thyng that me thoughte unsittynge,||and if it were a thing I thought unfitting,|
|To yow wolde I no swiche tales brynge.||to you I would not such a tale bring.|
|Geoffrey Chaucer, Troilus and Criseyde 2.302-8||Translation by A. S. Kline|
