I, Bill R. Tomison, was born on 16 October, in Portland, Oregon. I am a television news producer. I am 30 years old.
Along with my father and his father and surely several past others, I share the name William Tomison with an ancestor from the Orkney Islands in the very north of Scotland, who later worked extensively in Canada with the then-forming Hudson's Bay Company. On my mother's side, my ancestry connects to William Brewster, a Mayflower passenger.
In high school, I got involved in cable access television with Tualatin Valley Community Access.
After college I worked at WPRI in Providence, Rhode Island, then worked at WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut for a brief period, and then returned to WPRI.
I created my first userbox, {{User:Billbert12/Userboxes/mrspritchard}} on 1 January, 2008.
