Billy/Biléh shares genetic ancestry with North Africans of Nubia who are ethnically Nubian Sudanese-Egyptians. Billy's ancestry is also among the Indigenous people of America from the Cheraw people of Danville, Virginia and Eastern Band Cherokee of North Carolina. Born in the Southern Bronx New York, he was influenced by the early pioneers of hiphop as well as the new school of rappers.... After years of honing his craft and endless battles Billy made a name for himself with his witty lines, slick flow and hot "catchy" hooks. Billy also developed the knack for bringing personalities to life from writing for others as well. This experience gave Billy the confidence and direction to pursue his own endeavors, as an Artist and Writer. By 2000-2001 Billy Formed a Guy/Gal Hiphop act called BILLY GAMBLE and JACKIE-O, Billy and (Tamika) Jackie-O were signed to UNIVERSAL/DEFJAM ROCAFELLA RECORDS as First Hip Hop Guy/Gal Group.

From Jay Z's album entitled "The Blue Print" he mentions the Group only as "Mickey and Mallory" on the song "All I Need" Billy Gamble and Jackie-O was released from their contract from Rocafella in 2002 due to creative differences.
In 2003 Billy with now Partner/Producer Ronnie Cochran formed REKOLAW records, Under the company THE REKO GROUP LLC. In 2004 RekoLaw records released a promotional copy of the thier first realease entitled "The Reko Akt 1970". In 2007 Chalis 13 aka E.S. Quire joined the Team on Production. The Triad makes up of The Reko Group...
