Aspiring biotechnologist, but currently working in flight navigation data control.

Fan of all kinds of speculative fiction (When it comes to science fiction, I prefer well developed characters and finer literary qualities, or at least pure entertainment, to pages of dry technical detail. If your story and characters are boring, I'm better off reading an actual speculative science book). I also read other kinds of fiction, but generally prefer "genre" works to mainstream literature.

Also a fan of heavy metal from the mid-90s and earlier (or at least heavy metal that sounds like it). Sludge purist (No, Isis, Torche, and Rosetta don't play sludge). No patience for experimental-indie-avant-post-Pitchfork metal. Also a huge fan of British comedy, and classic American comedy (Seinfeld, Married With Children, etc.).
