I am an economist by training, with a Ph.D. in development macroeconomics. In wikipedia, however, I contribute to Persian- and Afghanistan-related topics, mainly to the biographic history of Greater Khorasan's Islamic scholars and scientists.

About my username: Cabolitae (Καβολῖται) is the Greek work used by Ptolemy for the Kabul Valley, where I come from.
