[edit] Small Bio & Interests

I live in A Coruña (Spain), where I am a Computer Engineer and a Ph.D. student in Computer Science. My main research interests include, but not limited to:

Besides my work, I'm interested in almost everything related to computers. I'm also a great geek when it comes to watching movies or reading books, specially from my favourite authors, David Lynch, José Saramago, H.P. Lovecraft, and a big etcétera.

[edit] Wikipedia-related

I am a late wikipedian, and started my account on January, 2006. Since then I have been mostly fighting vandalism and revamping a bit some articles featuring my main interests. While I don't mind helping in any task that I can be useful with, since I am a n00b here I tend just to look for articles that I feel I can contribute to, and just read and write a bit.

I have begun my work here by trying to expand and rewrite the checkpointing article.

[edit] My Categories

I have always liked to categorize myself and others in a futile effort to keep an order in things, though I usually stand corrected by reality. Just in case reality is on holiday today, I will give it a try.
